Dave Grohl has one drink, tips $1000, goes back the next night and does it again

There’s an on-going dialogue here in Canada about tipping percentages: should we tip 15%? 20%? More? And should it be mandatory?

Good guy Dave Grohl laughs in the face of this argument.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Foo Fighters frontman stayed in the city over Memorial Day weekend and, naturally, stopped by the bar a few times. The thing is, the first he went by he reportedly tipped $1000 after having one drink. Then, after having a few more the next night, he did it again.

At this point, we’re not sure gratuity even covers it.
