Dave Grohl has been spotted hanging out in the studio with Korn.

For many music fans, Dave Grohl can do no wrong. A generous tipper, affable rock-dad and generally lovable icon; he’s radio rock’s Bill Murray, only, y’know, a lot less lonely seeming.

But his winning streak might finally be over, as the Foo Fighters frontman (say that five times fast) was recently spotted hanging in the studio with… Korn. Sorry… we mean KoЯn.

The nü-metal cob enthusiasts are working on a new album right now with Foo Fighters collaborator Nick Raskulinecz, and drummer Ray “Not David Silvera” Luzier shared a picture of Grohl on his Instagram, thanking the former Nirvana drummer for stopping by the studio for the band’s Serenity of Suffering sessions.

And there’s more to this story: On Tuesday, KoЯn hit Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre for their Rob Zombie accompanied Return of the Dreads tour. The next night, none other than Dave Grohl showed up on stage during the Prophets of Rage show.

If you weren’t already planning on it, is a possible GЯohl cameo enough to entice you into listening to a new KoЯn album in 2016? I guess we’ll see.
