He broke his feet after jumping off of a speaker stack, finished their set, and played a few days later while sitting in an office chair.

Once upon a time, Dave Grohl broke his leg by falling off a stage Sweden and because he’s Dave Grohl, he got that shit patched up and finished the show on a chair. That was pretty boss, and Grohl may yet get his face carved into Mount Bossmore for that.

With due respect to Grohl, however, Trap Them vocalist Ryan McKenney outdid him and then some. While playing at Bloodshedfest in Eindhoven (where a teenaged clown was just arrested for sedition) this past Saturday, McKenney broke both of his feet after jumping off the speaker cabinet and landing, well, badly.

Instead of quitting the show like he probably should have, or at least getting some medical attention and then finishing the show like Grohl did, McKenney soldiered on, finishing the show while in obvious pain.

A few days later, Trap Them played in London, where McKenney — complete with a black eye and casts on both feet — did his job from an office chair.

I, on the other hand, once called in sick to my desk job because of a hangover. [h/t Stereogum]
