After trying out Nick Lachey as a new frontman, Foo Fighters are sticking together.

Following scurrilous rumours of their breakup and frontman Dave Grohl going solo, the Foo Fighters have released an “official band announcement” in the form of a seven-minute video. It ends with an emphatic statement:

The tongue-in-cheek video includes clips of Grohl in the studio trying his hand at solo “electronica” while the rest of the band looks for a replacement. Potential fill-ins include David Coverdale, Sammy Hagar, Billy Corgan, Chris Cornell, Phil Collins, Prince, Diplo, Justin Bieber, Nick Lachey, and Gwen Stefani.

But despite what the haters want, it doesn’t seem like the Foo Fighters are going away any time soon.
