Glenn Danzig will guest star on Portlandia

It’s often difficult to tell if Misfits/Samhain/Danzig mouthbox, werewolf stories enthusiast and all around fun-loving guy Glenn Danzig is in on the joke. In this particular instance, we’re fairly confident that we can laugh with him, not at him.

Portlandia presiders Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen recently revealed that the veteran punk/metal rawker is slated to appear in an episode of the show’s sixth season. Brownstein posted the following Instagram all-timer with the immortal caption “Summer Goths. With Danzig. Dreams (nightmares?) do come true.”

The duo’s Danzig fandom dates back at least as far as 2009, when they filmed a stalkerish video outside of his home.
