Would you believe us if we said there was a Maroon 5 connection to this story?

Do you have a photograph of Glenn Danzig at home? Good. Cherish it. Heck, frame it if you like. Just remember that the dude takes the no photo policy at his shows seriously and he’s willing to get hands-on to enforce it.

TMZ (your trusted source for Danzig news) offers up an interesting tale involving the veteran metal/punk/rawk dude and an unruly “fan” that recently went down in California. A dude was taking pictures of Danzig during his set and promptly had his phone snatched by the singer and chucked offstage. After the show, the de-phoned concertgoer showed up with a camera and tried to chat with Danzig by his tour bus.

“I heard you don’t like being photographed,” said the camera-wielding fella.

Danzig responded by confirming that slice of information verbally and with a quickly applied headlock. According to TMZ, the dude was placed in the maneuver because he was trying to make his way onto the tour bus.

The guy with camera? That’s Navid Farsi. He’s the dude that tossed a shitload of powdered sugar on Adam Levine a couple months back. Farsi pleaded no contest after being charged in the Levine incident and was sentenced to three years probation.

Here’s hoping we get a surprise Danzig/Levine duet out of this whole mess.
