A new video sweeping the globe and the front page of Reddit shows 1,000 musicians teaming up to play the Foo Fighters’ “Learn To Fly.” This cinematic seven-minute fly-over was created as an earnest plea from the people of Cesena, Italy for the Foos to play their city. In the words of their curly haired conductor, these are “1,000 rockers that came from all over the nation at their own expense” and they deserve to watch Dave Grohl on his rock throne, dammit!

This is the stadium rock equivalent of 88BoaDrum. And as Redditor ‘ettpunktnoll’ points out: “Having ONE drummer banging on the snare for two minutes straight is enough. A hundred drummers soundchecking? That’s a circle Dante probably forgot about.”
