Dave Grohl prepared to use bribes to keep his daughters from dating musicians

Dave Grohl’s beaming personality is often enough to make the Foo Fighters interesting, and on stage he’s been known to stop the show to break-up fights, give fans memorabilia or invite his impersonator on stage.

Off the stage, he’s proved to be a cool, level-headed down to earth dad who openly talks about how little his kids care about his celebrity.

Still, he’s aware of how famous he is, and recently ruminated on the realities of being a father to three daughters, the oldest of which is quickly approaching her dating years. And with that realization came another: What if they want to date musicians? Being one himself, Grohl’s feelings were candid.

Of course he was mostly joking, probably, but his quote as told to Australian show The Project is another example of Grohl’s priorities as a dad first.
