Say what you will about his tenure in office, but when it comes to the keyboard, Prime Minister Stephen Harper can totally shred. AND THAT VOICE!.

We learned as much when he performed with his band, The Van Cats, at a Christmas party he hosted for his Conservative party. But this rager was anything but conservative, as you’ll see below as you watch Stephen “Keyboard Cat” Harper rip through classic Guns N’ Roses cut “Sweet Child of Mine” before bursting into John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

Stephen Harper’s tenure will be marred by his stunning human rights failures, but we’re glad Canada’s creepy political uncle at least he still has time to tickle the ivories.
