Izzy Stradlin and Matt Sorum may be mocking their former bandmates on a new song.

Back in February, ex-GNR guitarist Izzy Stradlin made it clear that he had nothing to do with the reunion:

Since then, he’s used his newly launched Twitter account to share covers of songs by Jonathan Edwards and Stealer’s Wheel, snippets of his latest solo material since the 2010 album Wave of Heat… and Monty Python sketches for some reason.

Last week, Stradlin share the info on his own reunion with former Guns drummer Matt Sorum on a song called “F.P. Money.” He first teased it with a short excerpt and the following info:

Now, “F.P. Money” has arrived in full on iTunes. As Stradlin explained, the title stands for “Fighter Pilot Money” and was inspired by HBO’s “dark comedy” series The Brink starring Jack Black and Tim Robbins. (At least his love of wacky comedy is consistent.)

Stradlin also shared the song’s lyrics:

Are these subtle digs at Axl Rose and Co.? It’s hard to say for sure, but the final line of Stradlin’s iTunes bio includes some info that proves he’s at least still cool with Slash and Duff McKagan.

Stradlin has also signed on to help out in the songwriting department for the new G N’ R-related offshoot group, the Project (featuring Guns alumni Slash, McKagan, and latter-day drummer Matt Sorum), but will not be a touring member of the group.
