Avid South Park fans know that the show has a long, and hilarious, relationship with music. Radiohead, for example, made a rare appearance on the show, with Thom Yorke dropping a punchline about cancer of the butt (which is less funny to Torontonians, given crack-smoking mayor Rob Ford’s current afflictions). Chef once found out that a song he wrote was co-opted by Alanis Morrissette. And to crown its 18th season, the show revealed that Lorde was in fact a 45-year-old geologist (Randy Marsh, natch), a gag the “Royals” singer loved.

Their banner 18th season continues, and yesterday, when they aired their Christmas special and season finale, it only got better: It featured holograms of a shotgun-wielding Kurt Cobain, who sings “Up on the Roof Top,” Iggy Azalea’s butt, and a duet between an uncomfortable Taylor Swift and accused serial rapist Bill Cosby. If that doesn’t sound insane enough, it gets even better: The episode, called “#HappyHolograms,” was renamed by Cartman as the “Washington Redskins Go Fuck Yourself Holiday Special,” it also features 2Pac and Michael Jackson holograms as a commentary on race in America.

As for Nirvana fans, there are also plenty of truthers who’ll find truth—and hilarity—in this screengrab from the ep.

Embeds of the video are only available to American audiences currently, but with a little savvy—or a magical little Chrome extension—you can view it right here. Let the avalanche of South Park memes begin.
