Foo Fighters fans—and heck, music fans at large—know that Dave Grohl’s a swell guy. Accordingly, Colour and the Shape obsessives know that if they lobby hard enough, they’ll get the ex-Scream drummer’s attention: When he learned that a Foo Fighters’ tribute band existed in the U.K., he joined them onstage. When Richmond, Virginia fans crowdfunded a Foo Fighters concert, Grohl happily obliged. And now, the Italian city of Cesena are trying to get the Foos to visit their town—although they aren’t using a crowdfunding site.

Instead, they’re appealing to Grohl’s emotional side by arranging a 1,000-person performance of “Learn to Fly,” from 1999’s There is Nothing Left to Lose. The town announced the event via a video on Vimeo, which you can see below. If you don’t speak the language, get an Italian pal to translate it for you.

Hopefully, Grohl will take notice of the stunt. Here’s the Foo Fighters’ classic video for “Learn to Fly.”
