As punk rock clichés go, pizza—and anything pie-related—is as beloved as black coffee, cycling, and putting Black Flag’s logo on everything. And why not? Like Sriracha hot sauce and bacon, it’s a food item that can never outstay its welcome, because no one (not even you, vegans) can deny its greasy excellence. We love pizza. You love pizza. And the ponx at Riot Fest love pizza, too, which is why they launched a contest asking people to pizzafy their favourite album covers. The results are sometimes brilliant, sometimes punny, and sometimes corny, but we appreciate them all—especially the brilliant Germs adaptation. Gimme pizza.
