Bobby Womack is cancer free

Not even cancer is immune to Bobby Womack’s charm and charisma, as just two months after being diagnosed with colon cancer the soul singer revealed he’s now cancer free.

“We’re delighted to announce that Bobby Womack has successfully undergone surgery for suspected colon cancer. A tumour was removed last night which turned out to be cancer free,” read a post on Womack’s Facebook. “We wish him all the best in his recovery from the operation. Thank you for all your kind messages and support.”

Ditto that. Bobby Womack’s The Bravest Man in the Universe is due out on June 12th.
