Hills roots run deep, from playing in Anodyne in the late ’90s, working with labels like Level Plane and Chainsaw Safety, to his time running the label Black Box Recordings, establishing Salad Days studio in Baltimore, and producing podcasts and documentaries with Everything Went Black Media. Currently riding the wave of critical adoration that has followed the release of Tombs’ most recent full-length, Path of Totality, we spoke with Hill about accolades, psychedelic experiences, and sharing an album title with Korn.
