Nice try, Adele, but M.I.A. did it first. In case you weren’t following along with our Official 2012 Brit Awards Ballot during the broadcast, here’s the results of last night’s awards show. The big winners included ginger crooner Ed Sheeran, British/Irish (good to see them getting along!) boyband One Direction, and the queen of flipping the bird, Adele herself.

Nice try, Adele, but M.I.A. did it first. When the producers cut off 30 seconds into her acceptance speech for Best Album during the Brit Awards, Adele flipped the bird without hesitation. Given that Damon Albarn from Blur had just given a rambling 5 minute speech, and then the band played for 11 minutes to end the show, I’d say Adele was right to be pissed.
