Dave Grohl doesn't listen to Foo Fighters records

The Foo Fighters frontman has revealed in an interview with BANG Showbiz that he doesn’t listen to his own albums, and maintains that the upcoming Wasting Light is “the first time we’ve made a record that I actually like to listen to.”
Blaming the repetitive recording process for his lack of post-production enthusiasm, Grohl went on to say that he hasn’t listened to any albums aside from the third (There is Nothing Left to Lose) “a little bit because it reminds me of my home in Virginia,” but that the band’s latest effort is one he “listened to a lot” and likes “a lot.”
Well, with an endorsement like that, the record’s April 12 release date can’t come soon enough. [Music-News]
