Adele's cover of The Strokes' "Last Night"

The Strokes released the second single (“Last Night”) from their debut album Is This It in 2001 and seven years later English singer/songwriter Adele covered it for BBC Radio One’s Live Lounge.

Both artists have been in the news lately with Adele having just released her sophomore album 21 and the New York quintet set to put out their highly anticipated fourth studio album Angles. The cover below doesn’t have any surprises and sounds as if Nick, Fab, Nikolai and Albert are playing behind Adele while Julian takes a breather. Listen to it below. (Hat tip Chromewaves.)
