On December 5, several musicians including Dave Grohl, Steven Tyler, Nora Jones, James Taylor, Mavis Staples and members of No Doubt paid tribute to Paul McCartney as part of his Kennedy Center Honors. The award is handed out every year for exemplary lifetime achievement in the performing arts.

In the video below, No Doubt perform The Beatles’ “Hello Goodbye” and “Penny Lane” while Grohl and Jones collaborate on McCartney’s “Maybe I’m Amazed” from his first solo album released in 1970. At times the footage is not in-sync with the music, however the sound quality is good and that’s all that really matters anyway.
