Last night saw two big names in the midst of comebacks helping each other out. For the second night of Conan O’Brien’s new show, Soundgarden performed two tracks as the musical guest. First they did a take on the recently released single “Black Rain,” which appears on their compilation album Telephantasm as well as on the latest edition of the Guitar Hero video game and “Hunted Down,” the band’s very first single released in 1987.

For both tracks, lead singer Chris Cornell showed that age hasn’t affected his falsetto vocals too much as he can still wail like he’s in his early twenty’s jumping around stage with no shirt on. Although the body might not move like it used to, Cornell and the rest of Soundgarden can still hold it together after all these years.
