Stone Temple Pilots Finish New Album

In a recent interview on the blue carpet of the “Viva Elvis” show in Las Vegas, Stone Temple Pilot’s singer Scott Weiland said that the band just finished mastering the new album and they have a gig lined up at this year’s South By Southwest festival in March. Weiland also revealed the band will play a few more dates in the US before heading to Europe to play several big festivals in the summer. The as yet untitled new album, their sixth and first since 2001’s Shangri-La-Dee-Da, comes out in May.
