They've made urns for Prince, Lemmy, and more.

Riddle for: the man who 3D printed it, didn’t need it. The man who bought it, didn’t need it. The extremely famous man who used it, never knew it. What is it?

Foreverence, a Minnesota-based 3D printing company founded in 2014, specializes in the manufacture of that particular item: custom cremation urns. Finally, you can grant your granddad the eternal rest he’s always desired: a custom urn shaped like the Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde cover. What? Your grandpa would want something different? Pfft, lame grandpa IMO.

Foreverence has made more than its share of custom urns for famous musicians who have sadly passed on. According to the “Legends” page on the company’s website, they didn’t get into the custom urn game expressly to make final resting places for music stars, but that’s just what ended up happening: “It just turns out that choice and control are two very important things to very creative people”. Now THAT’S what I call brand synergy.

Check out some of Foreverence’s work in the gallery above, and start custom designing your own personal urn in your mind now. I don’t know what mine will look like, but it’ll definitely involve some kind of mini-pyrotechnics rig.
