It was from the Space Jam soundtrack, so we aren't sure what he was expecting.

For some reason, Space Jam 2 is on the horizon (ED Note: I’ll believe it when I see it), and that means the pop culture machine is dredging up any piece of Looney Tunes/NBA ephemera it can find, and in the process some hilarious gems are being unearthed.

Case in point: Seal was extremely mad that Bugs Bunny was in “Fly Like An Eagle” music video.

This important news comes to us via Space Jam director, Joe Pytka, in an interview with Mr. Wavvy. Pytka also directed the music video for Seal’s “Fly Like An Eagle,” one of the two smash hits about flying that the Space Jam soundtrack produced.

“I did the video with Seal for the movie, and he got upset with me because when he saw the video, it had Bugs Bunny in it,” explained Pytka. “He was furious. I said, ‘What did you think? It’s promotion for the movie’.” Seal apparently holds a grudge, especially when someone puts a famous cartoon rabbit in one of his videos: “He actually never forgave me. I ran into him once or twice after that, but he was kind of perturbed that we put Bugs Bunny in the video.”

Note to the director behind Seal’s next music video: don’t get cute and put in Huckleberry Hound in the video for “Kiss From a Rose 2k16” or whatever.

Curiously, after scanning through the video (okay, watching it on repeat), we couldn’t spot Bugs; we did, however, see the Monstars hittin’ ’em high.
