Man who had plastic surgery to look like Justin Bieber died of drug overdose

Tobias Strebel aka Toby Sheldon was a German-born, LA-based songwriter – but his claim to fame was the fact that he spent an estimated $100,000 on cosmetic surgeries in order to (sort of) look like his idol, Justin Bieber.

The obsession scored him appearances on the reality TV shows Botched! and My Strange Addiction, as well as numerous talk shows, but fame would be fleeting as in August of last year he was first reported missing, then found dead in a San Fernando, California hotel. Drugs were reported to have been found at the scene, and now a year later, a coroner’s report has confirmed that his death was due to ‘multiple drug intoxication’ and that the overdose was accidental.
