The webcam assesses your body language and asks you to 'correctly' answer the bouncer.

In terms of nerve-wracking experiences, trying to get into a club ranks right up there with the WebMD loading screen, or giving a wedding toast and blanking on the bride’s name. However, nothing comes close to trying to get into storied Berlin techno mecca Berghain, and securing passage past the lord of all bouncers, Sven Marquardt (file photo).

A new website attempts to simulate exactly that, in case your life wasn’t full of jittery apprehension enough already. Berghaintrainer, through the magic of Google Chrome, uses your computer’s webcam to assess your body language, and prompts you to speak into your computer’s mic to ‘correctly’ answer the bouncer’s questions (“Are you alone?” “Do you know who’s spinning tonight?”).

Do well enough, and you might make it past the digital sentry and into Berghain’s hallowed halls/fuck alcoves. Succeed enough times, and you just might have what it takes to make it in for real. Try it for yourself, just don’t let on that you have no idea who Drexciya are.
