Corgan says Sanders' 'crazy tax rates' will 'disempower the innovators in our country.'

Aside from some old guitar riffs he came up with approximately 1 billion years ago, Billy Corgan has never been a fount of good ideas. Nowadays, the bald bozo spends most of his time playing the heel and railing against SJWs on conspiracy theorist shows, whenever he’s not busy shilling for TNA Wrestling, a.k.a. the most hilariously inept pro wrestling promotion known to man.

Now, a new segment from Corgan’s radio interview with Alex Jones that brought us the term “hashtaggy trendies” has hit the web, and it features more choice, bizarre quotes straight from Billy’s brain, this time about the dangers of letting an avowed socialist like Bernie Sanders run for President.

“I can’t believe that we’re even having this discussion, if you can understand when I say that to you humbly. To be talking in America in 2016 about Mao is a good idea, and a socialist is running for president and that’s OK, and we’re going to go back to these crazy tax rates where we’re going to completely disempower the innovators in our country because the new technocratic class wants to keep their position and they want to keep anybody else from coming in the game… I mean, it’s just crazy to me.”

I’m…having difficulty finding a quote from Sanders or his supporters where Mao Zedong is mentioned. I mean, Alex Jones said it, but he says a lot of batshit things. But don’t worry, I believe you Billy, I’m sure it’s out there. As for the rest of it, sounds like Corgan should get in touch with techno mastermind Richie Hawtin. I think they’d have a lot to discuss. Play date!

Corgan also had a harsh, bewildering word salad for people who protest Donald Trump rallies:

“I have no respect for what these people are doing. They’re shutting down free speech… If they have that level of vitriol for let’s say Donald Trump as a candidate, because they feel it’s antithetical to what they believe in, where is the five times great condemnation for those societies that are treating their people far worse than just ideas and words?

Billy sums up by declaring his enduring love for free speech, and decrying the fact that “one word” could destroy his career and reputation. I desperately want to know what word he’s worried about. Corgan’s not wrong to call attention to people’s unwillingness to “engage without shutting down” conversations about class, race, and politics, but he’s still talking to the network that spends most of its energy on chemtrails, so in the end it’s kind of a moot point.

Here’s the full interview, for anyone who has 36 minutes to flush down the drain with extremely surface-level political analysis that sounds like it comes straight from the mouth of Chris:
