Morrissey went to a Rancid show

Morrissey is many things; An outspoken activist and vegan; a once in a generation talent; a great head of hair; a bitter, old doofus.

But dude’s also punk as fuck, something I’m reminded of every time I see this bafflingly odd picture of him sulking, seemingly half drunk after sipping on a skunky Corona, against Johnny Ramone’s grave.

The other night, we were reminded once more of Morrissey’s not-so-secret love affair with punk rock when New York hardcore legends H20 posted a pic of singer Toby Morse with the Smiths frontman he snapped after the two took in a Rancid show together.

We’re rarely treated to reasons to like Morrissey, given his, errr… eccentric personality. But damn, dude is down. Consider this the Venn diagram of shit we think is cool — Morrissey, without the politicking, and Rancid, without having to look at any of them.
