Hamilton's Get Off The Cop start a brooding post-hardcore brawl.

Hamilton post-harcore trio Get of the Cop are set to release their new 7″ EP Lipstick Tim on April 1 via hometown label Schizophrenic Records. Get a sneak peek with the entire four-song EP streaming below.

The band’s explosively ominous sound draws on Steve Albini-inspired loud-quiet-loud dynamics with barked vocals that makes predecessors like Shellac and McLusky sound like poindexters. Get Off The Cop features members of Hamilton acts such as Lizzy Boredom, No Shoes & One Sock, and one-man noise-rock machine The Kettle Black, if you need some idea of their sub-underground pedigree.

Get Off The Cop’s Lipstick Tim 7″ will be released in a limited run of 500 copies with stylish screen-printed sleeves. Hit play below, and if you like what you hear, catch their release shows on Friday, April 1st at London’s FOAM DOME and Saturday, April 2nd at Homegrown Hamilton.
