For a guy who declared bankruptcy, 50 Cent sure has a lot of cash stacks.

A Connecticut judge is doing what we all wish we had the power to do: calling someone to account for their obnoxious social media presence. Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, has been ordered to appear in court and explain a series of Instagram photos showing the rapper lounging around with piles of cash, such as this one:

Or this one of his fridge full of “a cool little $tash and some Effen Vodka”:

And finally this flagrant shot of 50 Cent arranging bundles of cash to spell the word “BROKE”:

Note to all Instagram ballers: keep your Creamsicle pics free of painstakingly-posed stacks of cash if you’ve recently filed for bankruptcy.

“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case,” Judge Ann Nevins said at a recent hearing. “There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.”

The egregiously balling photos were brought to the judge’s attention after they were flagged by Lastonia Leviston, who won $7 million from 50 Cent in a sex-tape dispute but has to date been unable to collect that money since 50 declared bankruptcy. The date of the hearing is yet to be set, but hopefully Judge Nevins can also force 50 to declare a moratorium on Instagrams of gaudy bird earrings.
