Watch these adorable Korean kids cover The Ramones

Back in 2011, the kindergarten students of The Sullivan School in Seoul, South Korea got a crash course in punk from teacher Peter Strutt. Along with 40 other songs he used to teach the class of 3-5 year-olds English, The Ramones’ “Judy Is A Punk” is the one that got them bopping.

After originally filming a video to share with friends and family, the adorable mosh pit began making the rounds. This is timeless, ageless fun. Think the Langley Schools Music Project meets Chic-A-Go-Go meets Rock ‘n’ Roll High School. (It might even conjure memories of a well-placed soundtrack cut from The Royal Tenenbaums.)

Strutt told The Guardian that the speedy punk tempo was a bit of a challenge, as many of the students had only been studying English for six months when they learned the song. In the end, it proves that the universal language of The Ramones is alive and well. It’s definitely a better tribute to their lasting legacy than the current state of CBGBs.
