Joe Budden's beef with Drake enters the real world, with dangerous consequences.

Let’s face it – everybody loves a good internet trolling.

A jab perfectly designed to get under someone’s skin, eventually driving them to a caps lock-heavy, profanity-infused meltdown? Gold. But that’s because at the end of the day, it’s not all that serious (once emotionally scarring bullying or hateful rhetoric isn’t involved). Problem is, some people seem to be unaware that trying to do the same shit in real life — where you can’t hide behind a Twitter handle — can have drastically different consequences. Case in point: a group of idiot kids who, as Drake fans, have decided to insert themselves into the beef between the Canadian rapper and Slaughterhouse member/Eminem cohort Joe Budden.

Shapchat videos that have since gone viral show two young men (who are doing the filming) approaching Budden as he backs out of his driveway. The rapper then gets out of his car and charges the two, asking them if they are “fucking crazy.” The next clip shows Budden chasing their vehicle in another car; he eventually catches up to them, banging on their car with rocks while warning: “Come on this block again, and Imma hurt one of you n*ggas…this is not the internet, I will kill one of you.”

As you can see in the above video, the rapper also filmed the incident. Far more terrifying than the actual confrontation is the eerily calm Budden intoning “I keep saying…internet games gonna get one of you n*ggas killed. Yep, I know,” in the style of Crazy Hooch from Scrubs. And just like Hooch, he eventually snaps.

To those thinking that Budden grossly overreacted, it turns out this wasn’t an isolated incident. Apparently, these geniuses rolled up on Budden previously, calling the Harlem-born rapper and grown-ass man who has spoken of battling drug addiction, mental health issues and a tendency for criminal activity in his youth a “bitch ass” and a “scumbag” before burning rubber while screaming “OVO.”

Super gangsta, boys – but a stark contrast from shitting your pants and saying “I’m sorry, Sir” when he finally did catch up to you. While it’s unlikely these rocket scientists have learned anything from this (especially the lead jackass who giggles “Follow me on Twitter though” once Budden is out of earshot), it did result in some fine work from the ever-imaginative meme creators.

While these are undoubtedly hilarious, the most important tweet from Budden himself will unfortunately probably be glossed over. He’s surprisingly pragmatic about the whole thing, even calling the memes “some of the greatest ever,” but also tries to save the kids in question from themselves.
