Let there be power chords and drum crashes.

I know what you’re thinking: “Dang, I really wish there was an audio supercut of the last note of almost every AC/DC song in existence.” Well, thanks to the magic of the Internet, now there is! Afternoon: BOOKED.

Two Phoenix classic rock DJs compiled all the similar-sounding times AC/DC abruptly ended their thunderous rock anthems with a tonic power chord and drum crash, often with a little added Bon Scott or Brian Johnson “YEAH!” or “HAHAHAHA!” ad lib for flavour. Listen to the cacophony below:

Well, it still sounds better than Behold The Arctopus, I’ll give it that. According to his Facebook post, DJ Paul Marshall notes that “very few” of AC/DC’s songs fade out, and those black sheep were omitted, thankfully. It’s better to blast out than fade away.
