Never underestimate the dedication of a young music fan.
A 15 year old from Brampton, ON, will lead a “buyout” of Justin Bieber’s new album Purpose in Toronto on Saturday. What’s a buyout? It’s a meetup for Bieber fans to buy all the copies of the album in stock (this time at the Yonge-Dundas Square HMV location), giving extra copies to Sick Kids hospital. There are 34 Purpose buyouts happening around the world this month.
Toronto organizer Mani Ahluwalia tells the Toronto Star her aim is “To promote Justin Bieber’s CD because I am personally a huge fan. To promote it, to help the sales.”
It’s also a way for Bieber fans who are friends on the internet to be friends IRL.
