Rock and roll ain't noise pollution (but it might mess up your playoff run).

BREAKING: Old man unhappy with other old men playing on his lawn.

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon is calling out AC/DC for (allegedly) wreaking havoc on his baseball club’s playing surface. The Aussie rock outfit performed at Wrigley Field on September 15 and the club is crying foul over the condition of the park after the concert. The Second City’s NL skipper pointed to Starlin Castro’s infield error on Monday as evidence of the band’s dirty deeds.

“Since the AC/DC concert, we’ve had a little bit of trouble,” Maddon told The Chicago Tribune. “I don’t know if they were out there taking groundballs before the game, or if they had 9-inch heels or spikes.”

Maybe the band’s travelling Rosie was in the mood to stomp around the diamond.

“They totally messed up the infield, and it has nothing to do with the groundskeepers,” Maddon explained. “I’ve seen a bad hop at third, and a bad hop at second. I didn’t see one bad hop all year. We just got to get it ironed out because I think Starlin has done a nice job at second base. I don’t want anyone blaming him on that error. It was a weird hop.”

If the Chicago Cubs miss the playoffs this season, blame it on AC/DC.
