Slipknot shreds "Livin' La Vida Loca"

Just when you thought you had finally exorcised Ricky Martin’s 1999 earworm out of your brain, a weirdly perfect A/V mash-up is here to wedge it back in. YouTube genius Golpe Baixo noticed the similarities between a Slipknot live performance and “Livin’ La Vida Loca”, splicing them into something so monstrously beautiful that even Shawn “Clown” Crahan wouldn’t wear it as a mask.

Now that we’re living the crazy life all over again, the correlation is actually kind of obvious. Ricky Martin’s visions of black cats, voodoo dolls, and the devil’s red lips were out there in plain view for all these years, just waiting for someone to walk the left-hand path and work their dark magic. Who knows what someone truly evil can do with William Hung’s haunting cover of “She Bangs.”
