Weezy recreates the most memorable play-by-play calls in sports history.

It’s always nice to have a career you can fall back on. If Lil Wayne ever follows through on his retirement hints/threats, he can always go into sports broadcasting.

Lil Tunechi has a tendency to pop up on a number of ESPN broadcasts (like First Take and Around The Horn) and now the American cable colossus has wrangled in Wayne to recreate some of the most iconic calls in sport broadcasting history. To be honest, we’d be happy with Lil Wayne calling XFL or Slamball highlights so you couldn’t really lose with whatever classic moment sprang up in the rotation.

In just a shade over a minute, the hip-hop superstar recreates such memorable calls as “Havlicek Stole The Ball!” and “The Band Is On The Field!” Weezy also channels Howard Cosell for “Down Goes Frazier” and muses about name brand mayonnaise at the tail end of the “Do You Believe In Miracles?” call.

Witness the magic for yourself and fantasize about what it’d be like for Lil Wayne to join the booth on Monday Night Football.
