The dude that spent $100k to look like Justin Bieber has gone missing

Tobias “Toby” Strebel, the man who spent $100,000 on surgery to resemble his hero Justin Bieber, has gone missing.

Strebel, who you may remember from his appearances on shows like Botched and My Strange Addiction, was last seen in West Hollywood on August 18. Friends of the 35-year-old say they’re worried by this out of character disappearance.

“This is very unusual for him to be missing. He hasn’t done any, not shown up for no reason, no note or anything,” said Mel Espinoza in an interview with ABC.

The Los Angeles Police Department has asked anyone with information on the disappearance of Strebel contact them at 213-972-2976.

The aspiring singer has noted that he chose to undergo cosmetic surgery to resemble Justin Bieber because he considers the pop star to be a vision of beauty.

“What brought me to Bieber was the whole package: the full cheeks, the full temples, the bright open eyes, the full luscious lips, and spatial framing… [he’s] just extraordinarily beautiful,” said Strebel during his appearance on Botched.
