The Meek shall not inherit the earth just yet.

The beef between Drake and Meek Mill continues to get soggy, but there’s still something to chew on. 10 days after the Philadelphia rapper accused the 6 God of using ghostwriters, Drake retaliated with the two-punch knock-out of diss tracks “Charged Up” and “Back to Back.” Last night, Meek finally dropped his own lyrical response (following a strange fake-out of 15 seconds of screaming) with the song “Wanna Know.” Listen to it here:

For those of you following along at home, here’s a quick scorecard:

1) The song ‘features’ Drake’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller in a sample of the reference track for “Know Yourself.” Points for Meek on that one.
2) It also samples WWE wrestler The Undertaker’s eerie entrance music. Blue Jay Joe Carter is still a cooler choice though. Points for Drake.
3) Yes, that soundcloud image is a lazy photoshop of Drake as Milli Vanilli with a ghost replacing the OVO owl. Minus points for Meek.
4) The lyrics of “Wanna Know” include some violent threats against Drizzy, calling him a ‘Buttercup’ as well as this bizarre line: “You let TIP homie piss on you in a movie theatre.” Points still being calculated.

We’ll see what happens at OVO Fest, but Drake shared his initial response to the song last night:
