The IRS are not down with the clown.

The world’s favourite horrorcore clown-rap duo may have written off a few too many bottles of Faygo.

According to an article from their hometown publication, The Detroit News, the IRS is chasing down ICP founder Joseph “Shaggy 2 Dope” Utsler, who owes $379,783 in delinquent federal income taxes. These expenses were racked up by Shaggy and his partner Joseph “Violent J” Bruce in 2011 and 2012, possibly due to those years’ Gathering of the Juggalos festivals featuring high-profile names such as Ice Cube, Lil Jon, Danny Brown, and (shudder) Charlie Sheen.

2011 also saw the FBI label the group’s Juggalos fanbase as a “loosely organized hybrid gang” in a National Gang Threat Assessment report. It’s not the first time the feds have come after the duo for delinquent taxes either: In 2014, Utsler was charged with missing payments of $162,417, while Bruce was slapped with a hefty $217,366 tax lien.

The timing of these shenanigans syncs up suspiciously with the 2015 Gathering, which takes place July 22-25 in Thornville, Ohio’s Legend Valley (moved from its original location at Cave-In Rock, Illinois). Watch the 20-minute sci-fi themed trailer for this year’s event featuring the rogues’ gallery of Puddle of Mudd, Hopsin, and Waka Flocka Flame.
