If you’re in the mood to be trippin’ balls and trippin’ balls of yarn, Mastodon have got your ass covered.

Progressive metal outfit Mastodon (although they kinda bristle at the metal tag) has unveiled their brand new “Asleep In The Deep” video complete with a druggy kitty adventure. (Do you suppose the kitten Slayer rescued touches the nip?)  For six minutes plus, we’re taken on a mystical odyssey staring a lovable house cat that drinks from a bowl of cream and embarks on a freaky-ass journey.  Imagine Heavy Metal filtered through the brass at Cat Fancy.
