This woman made her boyfriend pass a Beyonce exam to stay with her

Some people take their music more seriously than their relationships. And Allie Davis, it appears, is one of those people.

Because, after all, would you date someone who’s a total music poseur, especially when it comes to your favourite artist? Nah, not even. And that’s why the 21-year-old Minneapolis resident made her boyfriend take a not-so-serious—OK, maybe it was entirely serious—Beyonce exam in order to stay together.

Davis took to her Twitter account to announce that she was administering the test, and then posted the results. The good news for her fella? He passed. And if you’re dating a Beyonce megafan like Davis, you sure had better pass.

Since then, the story’s gone viral, and Davis has been taking it in stride on Twitter.

And just to prove that she means business, Davis also took to her blog to write about her ultimate dream: A Beyonce-themed wedding. She details the wedding right down to the nitty gritty details—and here’s to hoping her Queen Bey-literate dude puts a ring on it.

Here’s an excerpt from her wedding plans.

The reception will take place in the stadium and will be a giant dance party. Everybody will be welcome to perform onstage and Jay Z will smoke a cigar out back with my husband. Kim Jong-Un might have to leave early because it might cause a little controversy, but it would be nice if he at least stayed for cake (which will be a carving of Harry Styles’ face). This perfect night will end with the entire crowd singing Jay Z’s “Forever Young” and a video montage of me and my husband ft. the Carters.
