10 classic rap album covers found in Google Street View

A few months back, The Guardian took to Google Street View to find the IRL locations of the some of the world’s most iconic album covers. It was an impressive feat: The newspaper first had to locate where each album cover was shot—which can be harder than it sounds—then, they had to line it up precisely in Google Street View. Impressive as it was, though, there were a distinct lack of rap album covers—something while Mass Appeal hoped to fix. They found loads of classic rap album covers on Google Maps, and we’ve featured our faves in the gallery up top. Check the rest here.
