Were we to guess Charlie Brown’s musical tastes, we’d surmise that the classic Charles Schulz character would love melancholy music: He’d probably dig ’90s Midwestern emo, mopey ’80s British indie-pop and, due to his evident love for dogs, crust punk. The Internet’s imagination, however, doesn’t stop there—and thanks to a collection of memes we found on Collapse Board, here, he’s imagined as everything from a Plan-It X-loving freegan punk, an overweight member of the Pains of Being Pure at Heart, and a sexless Radiohead fan. It’s our favourite Peanuts-based musical phenomenon on this side of the Smiths-themed This Charming Charlie.

Not only are these images hilarious, but it’s hard not to see a little bit of ourselves in ’em—and maybe that isn’t a good thing. Got any additions to this meme? Toss ’em in the comments.
