Listen, we dislike plenty of bands. But we’ve never understood hating a band—then going to see them play live just to heckle them. It’s completely immature, and, when you’re heckling a band, you’re being pretty disrespectful to, y’know, the people who actually go to see that very band.

It’s a situation that a glam-inflected hard rock band Black Veil Brides know well. And in a recent show in Vancouver, the band decided that they’d had enough. After being heckled relentlessly—presumably about their guitar-playing skills and the fact that the band wears guyliner—singer Andy Biersack stopped the set and directed his hate squarely at the heckler.

“Are you gonna be real embarrassed when a motherfucker in mascara knocks your fucking fake ass out right now? I’m so sick of people like you, man,” Biersack said, to cheers. He then invited the heckler onstage, to see if he could perform any better than the Black Veil Brides. “We have stopped our whole show so that you can play guitar right now.”

“When someone wants to ruin our show, I want them to show us how much better they are than us, because we get to be up here because of people that want to see us play,” added the singer, calling the dude a “drunk piece of shit.”

Watch the whole event unfold below.

Then, another video surfaced, showing Biersack jumping in the crowd, attempting to fight the troll.
