Rare tour of Dimebag Darrell's house reveals how the legendary Pantera guitarist lived

Dimebag Darrell’s legacy had already been cemented when he was tragically gunned down ten years ago; no excess of Damageplan songs could change that.
More than a just a guitarist, though, Dimebag is as remembered and revered almost as much for his reputation as a person — for his unique style and personality. And nothing captures that as well as his old house, which Guitar World recently toured to find has been relatively untouched since his death.
It’s exactly like you’d expect: A confederate flag bench outside, leopard print on the walls, and about a thousand stray guitars littered throughout.
Decorated like a teenagers hotbox, his bathroom is inexplicably alien themed, with neon green aliens strewn on the walls, matching the neon bathmat and shower curtains. His living room is eerily reminiscent of iconic Toronto junk bar the Bovine Sex Club, but for every bit of decor that looks a little, peculiar, there’s the history to match. Case in point, his seemingly state of the art recording studio.
