Jack White has finally made it after having coffee with Weird Al

Jack White caught up with The Daily Show‘s Jordan Klepper before his sold out Madison Square Garden show and said that while he’s topped the charts, won countless awards and been given his own baseball card, he hasn’t “made it” quite yet.

“People say ‘I know I’ve made it when Weird Al covers your song.’ That’s not true — you have to have coffee with him,” he said.

And then, yesterday, this happened:

Weird Al has riffed on the White Stripes before, in 2009 on Alpocalypse with the ‘Stripes stylized “CNR,” but could a Blunderbuss parody be on the way?
