Watching people manhandle their vinyl is a record collector’s worst nightmare. This video is like a scene from that nightmare.

Calling itself a compilation of “vinyl record trick shots,” the 69-second clip sees a bunch of dweebs tossing their records like frisbees, kicking them across grass patches and otherwise whipping them full force at a portable record player that, in all likelihood, probably wouldn’t treat the albums much better when used as intended.

And sure, there’s an obvious air of snobbery involved when saying such a thing, but the fact remains: entry-level portable suitcase turntables aren’t awful because they’re trendy or hip, they’re awful because they sound bad and tear your music to shreds.

Not that these goofs would care.
