Bieber could face arrest in the next 60 days.

It’s been months since we’ve heard of Justin Bieber’s legal troubles, but nothing lasts forever: The Guardian is now reporting that Bieber is being summoned to Argentina to answer for an assault in a Buenos Aires nightclub last year, and that an Argentinian magistrate has recruited Interpol to help get him there.

Photographer Diego Pesoa alleges that he was chased and attacked by Justin Bieber’s bodyguards after he tried to take a picture of the singer, and the sustained injuries landed him in the hospital. Pesoa alleges that Justin Beiber ordered the attack, and his lawyer, somewhat smugly, says that “Bieber has to come to Argentina, and it won’t be to sing.”

No charges have been filed yet, but the courts are giving Bieber 60 days to submit his personal testimony. If he doesn’t, an international arrest warrant will likely be issued and, from there, Bieber could face up to a year behind bars.
