Our need as a society to embarrass our children has only gotten worst in the post-Saget YouTube-era, as easy access to video-capable cameras and the means to get the footage out there have led to countless viral sensations… most of which involve the dentist.

Most famously was David After Dentist, a clip that hilariously showed a young kid tripping balls after dental surgery. Then came the doped up teen who told her mother about her hot doctor, lust for Ryan Gosling and need for “white dick.”

Today, the ridicule is piling on 17-year-old Cody Lanphere, who following a wisdom teeth extraction, was absolutely devastated to learn Beyoncé wasn’t there waiting for him.

In the video, Lanphere, an aspiring hip-hop dancer, can first be seen struggling with the bandages in his mouth before crying about Beyoncé’s betrayal.

“She told me she’d be here,” he cries to his mother, “she lied to me.”

And then the video continues for another, like, twelve minutes.

Cody’s mother, Christine, says she filmed her humiliated son because he “likes to tweet about her,” calling the stunt “mummy’s ultimate revenge.”

As for Cody, he seems surprised by it all.

“I couldn’t believe that’s how I was acting because I don’t remember any of it,” he told ABC News, calling his reaction one of complete bewilderment.
