Like something out of the Simpsons, Australian pop star Sia has reportedly bottled her breath in a mason jar that will be auctioned off for charity later this week.

The stunt is in support of the Adelaide film festival, which runs bi-annually and is set to resume next year on October 15th.

Festival director Amanda Duthrie says that Sia “gorgeously and magnificently she breathed into a jar” for the, noting that it’s been sealed with wax so no one can accidentally open it.”

“Whoever wins it will be able to break that seal – or just let it be,” she added.

Her breath will be auctioned off as part of a quiz hosted on Halloween by popular patrons Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton. For Sia fans, it marks an interesting opportunity to get access to the artist; she’s being thrust centre-stage for the first time in her long career, even if the 38-year-old songwriter has penned chart-topping hits for Rihanna, Pitbull and Christina Aguilera. Sia’s known to perform with her back to the crowd, if she performs at all.

And you know what’s better than seeing her live? Owning her soul.
